SeaFM Finalist – Shedding for the Wedding Competition

This month the Media Sound team are swapping their microphones for gym shorts as their intrepid Accounts Manager, Amanda Nolan, says “I DO” to the Sea FM’s Shedding for the Wedding Competition.

When the dynamic breakfast trio Galey, Baggs and Charli announced that they were looking for two engaged couples willing to lose their love handles before they walk down the aisle, Amanda entered the competition. Much to her shock, her and fiancé of 6 years Paul Firth were announced as one of the two couples chosen to compete for the chance to win an all expenses paid wedding, reception and honeymoon at the Watermark Hotel and Spa Gold Coast. All they have to do is lose the most amount of weight by their 3 week wedding day deadline.

When interviewed live on air about why they had put off getting married, Amanda told Sea FM that a family tragedy and then the birth of their now 2 year old son Lincoln had put off the wedding plans and that she had decided to enter the competition so that they could both lose the post baby weight before they finally tied the knot.

It’s Amanda’s unyielding attitude towards managing the Media Sound accounts that has prepared her for the competition ahead. The tenacious Team Firth as they have been dubbed, have the unwavering support of their Media Sound workmates, family and friends along with healthy eating advice and personal training delivered by Lady Jane Trainers. In fact the team at Media Sound are so keen to get behind Team Firth that they will be joining in ‘Shed before you wed’ public group training sessions in the lead up to the final weigh in.
